Why do guys approach me regularly when I’m out walking somewhere and tell me they thought I was really beautiful? Wouldn’t they be intimidated?

That's a good point, I've heard some guys say they feel more intimidated approaching really attractive girls. But there's a few reasons why those guys might still approach you:

- Confidence - Some guys are just really confident and won't be swayed even if a girl is super cute. Complimenting beauty is a bold move.

- Nothing to lose - If they think you're out of their league, they figure might as well try since they had nothing to gain anyway in their mind.

- In the moment - When you're out and about, good looks stand out more. Could give a confidence boost in the moment.

- Not thinking long term - Guys approaching may just want to compliment, not necessarily get your number. So less pressure of following through.

- Special treatment - Telling a pretty girl she's pretty is always gonna get way more attention than an average girl. Ego boost.

- Appearance isn't everything - Maybe they see beyond looks and think your personality could shine through too.

So in short - I think a combo of confidence, low stakes, and appearance drawing attention explains why they still make a move! They think you're worth the risk.
