I will talk and hang with anyone but when it comes to romantic and sexual things, that is when looks matter and gender matter, etc. This guy at the 7 eleven keeps on hitting me calling me sexy, and other things. I like him as a person, but not that way since I am not gay. He is friendly and his energy is great but when he starts hitting on me, I dont like it. I am not gay.

Why don't you be welcoming to him and accepting of his compliments the same way you would if it was a woman? Maybe he identifies as a woman? Have you even discussed that with him/her/zer? You need to examine all your white hetero cis privilege because if you were NOT being such a homophobe you'd just smile and say thank you the same way you'd do it if a woman you weren't interested in was saying nice things about you.
