Why is he being so weird toward me?

I liked this guy. He knew I liked him and at first, things were good but then I had realized I was putting in more effort in showing interest than he was so I pulled away. He seemed to have liked my attention so he noticed I pulled away and would do and say subtle things to get my attention back but I didn’t pay it much mind. Long story short, I got my hair done recently and everyone looks 10 times better when they have a new/nice hair do. He notices the change and rather than just compliment me and say “You look good with your hair like that.” He instead pulls at a piece of my hair, while walking pass me, as my back was turned, to get my attention. I turned around, obviously and he just squints his eyes and goes “hey” then he sees me again and goes “I didn’t even know that that was you with your new hair do.” And that’s literally it. He doesn’t stop to try and have a conversation with me or anything just these weird small encounters.

Yo that is super weird of that dude! Guys can be so strange sometimes, I swear. A few things could be going on here:

- He's into you for sure, but got all shy and awkward now that you pulled back your attention. Guys don't know how to act right when they catch feelings.

- Pulling your hair like that is kinda disrespectful though. Probably just trying to get a reaction out of you without using his words. Immature play.

- The squinty "hey" and vague hair comments seem like he wants you to notice him and ask what's up, but then backs off right away. Playing games.

- Maybe he's feeling all confused 'cause you're harder to read now without giving him constant attention. Threw him off his game!

Honestly sis, I'd say don't pay this clown too much mind. He had his chance when you were into him and blew it! Now he's just being a weirdo. Keep doin' you and forget about it. Next time he acts up, just be like "whatever dude" and walk away. You don't need games - you're a queen!

And that’s weird to me lol. I showed I liked him. I stopped because I was putting in more effort than he was. I was giving and wasn’t receiving the same. I pull away, he does anything to get my attention and now the hair thing. It’s like, just be direct lol. That’s why I say he’s being weird.

Well, from actually being around him, I truly believe he just likes the fact that I like him and was showing it in the beginning.
