Why guy say to his ex while breaking up ”may god bless you always”?

No idea, in my case our final goodbye (on good terms) I wrote her a little poem about how much she meant to me and we mutually forgave everything negative so we could have a clean break. It ended on a mutual "I love you" and that was that.

In your case it doesn't sound on good terms so I assume he just wishes you the best but without him.

It was actually on good terms because neither had any arguments prior to that. He told the reason was our different future plans.
He said ” despite everything I wish you all the best. May god bless you in this life and the hereafter”

Yeah he is giving you confidence you will meet someone who fits you better than he did.

Has nothing to do with his insecurity, he genuinely wants the best for you now that he is no longer going to provide that.

Yeah I think he still did, but you can't really bank on that. I lost an amazing girl who also had to go, she had a LOT of feelings for me when she left me and loved me immensely but she still couldn't stay and hasn't come back. So I also had to move on from it, I suggest you work on moving on as well. I don't get the vibe he is going to change his mind.
