Guys don't communicate so subtily. It's possible that guys, in person, can be shy or confusing but online they aren't thinking like you are here.
The guy won't have a clue, he will have just sent you some texts.
That said... I do though also agree with the one poster who suggested they may have lost interest (or might have been looking for something speific [you can't know what] or something you didn't offer,). Often creeps trauling for sex will lose interest very quickly if the girl doesn't show signs of being that way also, but don't assume this is the case as thatwould be unwise, since its most likely they guy just ran out of stuff to say or is waiting for you to text him now).
It means that you are both communicating online and through social media so NOTHING will happen. Believe it.
