Guys, An ex from a yr ago had been asking about me and asking friends to tell me hi for 8 months?

I’ve been dating a great guy for a yr also.

i never responded to my ex. He found out where i was and found me. He asked me if my boyfriend treated me good and if I was happy, and if I loved him. i said yes. He then begged for a ride home, at first I said no, to ride with someone else but then he talked to them and they faked a fight with their girl as an excuse not to take him. He begged me again. I took him to a house and he told me non chalantly it his baby mamas house. He then gave me gas money, said it was nice seeing and talking to me again. He then said,” if things don’t work out with your new man, you know how to find me.”

Sounds like some kind of weird revenge come attempt to induce jealousy or a sense of urgency to resume your previous relationship perhaps (or just downright dickishness).

I can't say it appears to indicate any kinds of 'thought' that I recognise as inteligence on the part of said 'boy'. Though I guess you probably feel good right now this guys an ex and you can avoid him in future? (though that is presumptious of me, hope it doesn't offend, I feel like the story would make the majority of people just want away from the chaotic idiot described, in my opinion).

What he was thinking was he thought he might be able to break you down and hook up with you by giving him that ride. But you've already been dating another guy for a year now, so you really shouldn't even be that close with your ex like that, let alone giving him a ride. For all you know, he could've even used the ride home to try to hurt you out of obsession or crime passionelle, because he's sad that he doesn't have you anymore.
