I have a huge crush on a colleague. We admitted we liked each other recently (while slightly drunk) and we flirt/tease each other. There is always a lot of eye contact involved and he will always glance at both eyes as well as my mouth.
We were talking about heights and he teased me about being short. I said “I’m happy being short and cute”
He then said “I’m not going to comment on that”.
I didn’t hear him properly so I asked him “what did you say?” Any he kept saying “nothing”
I then said, “oh, you’re disputing the fact that I’m cute?” and he went dead silent and said nothing.
So now I’m being crazy, but because he ignored what I said, does that mean he doesn’t find me attractive or cute?
l’m worried that I’ve messed things up and I don’t know what he meant. Please help!!

He tried to "oversee" the fact that you are cute... and the "glance" at your lips indicates that he wants to make out with you so bad, and i`m sure he likes petite, most of the men, these days like them, they are.. cute, easy to handle in bed, easy to protect, faisty but gorgeous at the same time, i guess you get the point... i`m sure in his head he did "undressed you & fucked you " at the same time, but obviously he didn`t wanted to let you know, so you won`t creep out.
Ah ok. Is that why he said he “didn’t want to go there” and why he went quiet? In my head, the silence means “I don’t think you’re cute”

It really depends, if he's super insecure he could find satisfaction in belittling others. You suddenly seemed confident about yourself (which is good), but he reacted like he didn't like that. I think the guy is super insecure from what I'm hearing.
A man should say that he likes a girl who isn't insecure and compliment you on that. What's the point of suddenly not saying anything? He doesn't like you anymore.
Next time just say:
