They hang out together all the time and share room. I’ve just found out his brother is not a good one 😭. How likely is he the same and was just pretending to be a sweet guy around me?

Doesn't necessarily have to be. There were these two brothers I used to hang out with in high school. A few years after, the younger brother ended up going down a shady path, while the older brother didn't.

These things don't always mean one is like the other. You have to get to know someone to really understand who they are. If you think he's worth finding out then just take it very slowly and his true colors will show.

Well only time will tell. If he's nice and respectful take it for what it is not what he hasn't done yet. Time will tell to me means, date without physical contact for a bit. If he really likes you he will be patient. It's not bad to be safe and on guard but his brother's behaviors aren't his to inherit unless he shows he isn't genuinely nice.

Deceived how specifically? Like telling you be loves you and is lying for sex or something? Or pretending to be a spy? Lol Whatever it is you should communicate to him. If you can't trust someone for a real reason like he did something to break your trust then it's probably not a relationship worthy of your time.

If you don't trust him and he hasn't done anything then you might what to try unpacking your own feelings because you could sabotage relationships by accident. That said, I understand your gut is not something to ignore. This is just something to think about. His brother being the type of person you wouldn't trust doesn't make him untrustworthy. I'd confront him about your concerns.

I have a twin brother. We share 99% of our genes where the common sibling would be lucky to share 50% and we are nothing alike. So much not alike that my best friend that was in love with me dated him because I was married and got depressed and broke up with my exact twin brother in 8 weeks because he wasn't me

not necessarily the same... I do hang out with my older brother sometimes, not SO often, but we do... we are not alike at all, lmao, not in this sense

I would say, not very. My brother was a heavy drinker and smoked a lot of weed. I never touched either.
