Would a man tell a very pretty girl that she is „sooo cute“?

One guy keeps telling me that when I say something he considers cute. He often compliments my eyes, hair and smile etc. I asked a girl what she thought of that and she said if a guy considers a girl very pretty he wouldn’t das something like „you’re sooo adorable/cute“. Is she right?

That is just one girl and her interpretation of what certain words or behavior means from men. In my own personal opinion if a guy says you are so cute, he’s talking about your behavior. Maybe you are shy and giggly around him, or super clumsy or you say random/funny things. These all contribute to an innocent personality that is “adorable”. But it’s not a comment on how you look, I think that would be a separate conversation.
