What makes a man offer look out for a woman?

I have a guy at work who won't leave me alone & follows me everywhere. It got to a point where it was getting super creepy & I had to tell my manager.

Anyway, this other guy (to which, we both once expressed mutual feelings toward each other... I don't know know if the feelings are still there.) told me to call for him if I need a guy to walk out with me so this creeper guy at work will leave me alone.

Do men just have a natural instinct to be protective of all women? Or are they selective of who they are protective with? Because I'm wondering if this other guy who offered to look out for me, still has feelings.

If he had feelings don't you think you would know by now. Stop reaching. by the way, what did your manager do regarding your complaint? Is there an HR department.

He might still have feelings for you, so why not ask? And talk to your manager again if that other guy is still bothering you.
