What Guys Said
I hate it! I'd rather have pins stuck in my eyeballs!
Food shopping is tolerable. At least I end up with something good to eat at the end. But clothes shopping? I can't take that for 5 seconds until I want to commit suicide.
It's the truth. I like to know exactly what I want to buy beforehand. Then go in the store, buy the item and get out.
Depends upon where. Stick me in a musical instrument shop or electronics store and I am fine. Grocery shopping without a list or window shopping will bore me completely.
Myth. It depends. Where? With who? For who? What's the budget? How long?
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: "WILL I BE FED?" NO FOOD? NO GO!
I think 'hate' is too strong a word. My impression is that men spend a lot less time browsing than women on average. I don't know if that helps you with your question.
Myth. I love shopping. I work for a reason to make money. I spend my disposable income on things I enjoy. I'm not really party guy so no strip clubs for me. I buy movies, model kits, CDs, clothes and comics. I enjoy eBay, Amazon and my local shops.
Some men enjoy the goal of shopping but they don’t enjoy the process.
What am I shopping for... a car? Tools? Hockey sticks? Love it. Clothes? Food? hate it. and so on. So the answer is depends...
Not really, its just that when men shop it is usually for specific items, or if its something like food shopping its a 'get in complete shopping, get out' job, we don't spend hours browsing,
Its kind of a myth but kind of true. Because it entirely depends on what you're shopping for, who you're shopping with, and if you need vs want whatever you're shopping for.
I enjoy it sometimes but I gotta be in the mood for it or I'm at a shop with stuff I actually like.
Depends on what we are shopping for. Cars? Guns? Survival supplies? Clothes for myself? I'm in.
why am i wanting to hear you have me going out twice? i got the list
I don't mind it if it's for hardware or electronics.
Myth. Men shop differently but they can still enjoy it. To most men, it's more scavenger hunt than comparison shopping.
Men shop for specific things and prefer to save money in the process... so kinda both... it's circumstantial, but regardless men don't like spending too much
Depends on the shopping
Food isn't bad, clothes are awful, vices are fun and gold is great
In my experience selling shoes in college, true. Men will ask to get their size in a shoe and want to buy it if it is available without trying it on. Women will spend hours trying on shoes!
Some do and some don't. My dad hates it, but I don't mind it.
It's a myth. We have the capability to enjoy it, but it depends on certain factors.
Why would I hate shopping for stuff I want, especially during sales?
Myth, some of us just prefer shopping for different things
For clothes and boring shit, yes. For computer stuff, sporting goods, no.
I don't hate shopping alone. I already know what I want most times I go to a store.
Not quite true. We hate going shopping with women.
Depends on who it is with and what we are shopping for
I dont hate it. I like buying new things. But if I buy the same things again and again I might have someone else do it for me.
It's a chore and chores aren't really that enjoyable.
For someone else, not for ourselves
It's always hard shopping for others
Debatable; I hate shopping, but when I go for myself with nothing else to do, I like it
