If you can't let go even if you know it's wrong, maybe try some meditation, yoga, read self help books, try distraction strategy and if nothing helps.. Speak to a therapist as you sound like you're bit obsessed with him and can't take rejection very well. Your ego and rage is making you not move on. You need to do something about this.
