What does it mean when a guy lightly brush against a girl's sleeve when passing by her?

There is this guy who is in two of my college classes. In one of my classes he sits on the same row as me. I am quiet and we hardly never talk. If he does say something, just to ask me a question about class. When he passes by me, he will lightly brush against my sleeve. He has done this more than one time. There be room for him to walk.

I was sitting at another place on campus and he lightly brushed against my sleeve, arm. I would like to know what does it mean when a guy lightly brush against a girl's sleeve, arm when passing by her?

If he is shy, which it seems like he very well may be, then he likes you and seems to have very gentle and genuine feelings for you. If you like this guy then you may have to be the hunter here as he seems to reluctant to assume the role. Try talking to him in the cute high pitched, flirtatious voice all us men adore additionally add a hair flick or several into the mix, however, don't become distraught if he seems not to react to this as he may be caught off gaurd and be too afraid to respond. Try to relate to him in some way try to find something he has in common with you other than school, that sh*t is boring. If you have nothing in common, find out what he really likes and ask him things about it and seem very interested by tilting your head when he talks to you and bein all cute and girly, this will likely open him up to you a bit.
