@OrdinaryGentleman yeah but why have the downvote? It doesn't matter if people know or not, people can disagree, that's why the downvote was brought back.
@Blonde401 Lol the down vote was brought back to console those who had nothing better to do with their time. I will admit, I did use the downvote on this opinion which is odd but considering its an admin applauding someone taking a dump on people who are unhealthy for medical reasons or otherwise, I let it slide this time.
@OrdinaryGentleman If you want to believe this is out of people's control because of "medical reasons," you're part of the problem that has effectively crippled a country.
Suppose you must want a pat on the head for not noticing the downvote?
And i guess you must be blissfully unaware of the fact that both depression, anxiety, hypothyroidism, Gestational Diabetes. ... Dysthymia. ... AIDS. ... Menopause. ... PMS (Premenstrual Syndrome) so on and so fourth. For anyone dumb enough to believe what asker is saying is definitely part of the problem because you dismiss any notion other wise of there ever being a problem by just saying some people are fat fucks and destroying this country. And if you don't recognize it how will it get fixed, dissmiss it as "part of the problem" here?
@OrdinaryGentleman yeah, they cause a weight gain of under 15 pounds, PMS typically causes less than 5, and the only way that depression is causing a sever amount of weight gain is if you comfort eat and completelt stop doing anything active
@FallOutBoy2001 I can't comment on whether they gain weight under 15 pounds because I can't back up what you say but sure, people come in all shapes and sizes. If you are in excess of 32% for women and 25% for men you are considered Obese. If people come in different weights/sizes 15 pounds can be a lot.
@OrdinaryGentleman eh, if you're going to gain 15 pounds and become obese, you're already overweight. I'm not saying medical issues don't cause weight gain, but they certaintly don't account for the majority of obese people
@OrdinaryGentleman I get what you mean, but I honestly don't think medical reasons, other than chronic overeating, which in your defense, can be a symptom of things like depression or anxiety, contributes to the majority of obese people
@FallOutBoy2001 Good point, both of those things are prevalent in today's society contributing to obesity. Take hypothyroidism for instance... The thyroid acts upon thyroxine. A hormone in your body that helps with the control of your metabolism, (very prevalent in women today, a lot of people have this condition.) When your metabolism doesn't cooperate with the rest of your body then ultimately you gain weight... how much depends upon how long you have been dealing with it w/o treatment. I personally have this diagnosis. I am and was an athlete however and thus my body works efficiently enough to not allow excess weight gain. However for instance someone who isn't or doesn't have time to be one has a much harder time of keeping weight off as thyroxine is a key metabolic support hormone.
@OrdinaryGentleman yes thyroid problems can cause weight gain that nobody seems to acknowledge. Medications also cause weight gain, I'm on Deppo provera and Mirtazipine, both cause dramatic weight gain.

@OrdinaryGentleman I'll admit I wasn't too happy to see the downvote back but when you're too lazy to disagree with someone it's a easy way to do so.

As for the downvote, I don't even notice. :P

@FallOutBoy2001 Im saying medical issues daisy chain into weight gain, some people cannot help being bedridden or low energy.

@Blonde401 Nice.
@OrdinaryGentleman it's not but I'm tired of people ignoring the fact that there's more to weight gain than just food.
@Blonde401 Of course there is. Its a matter of if they are willing to accept the info or not. Some people are just thick. You can't help it.
@OrdinaryGentleman that's true
But... but... genetics!!!
Start small, eat less and more healthy.
