I'm worried I won't start the team my senior year?

So im currently a junior in high school and i switched schools this year to a really small school in a small town. Word spread pretty quick that im a football player. the coach came and pulled me out of class to talk to me about my position which is wide receiver and defensive end. the team ill be playing for went to states last year and lost. i know a lot of their starters are graduating this year. im worried that i won't start just because im not from here. im pretty good i think but there's a lot of bull shit that goes on in high school football. everyone i talk to always asks what position i play and when i tell them they say thats good because we need a wide receiver. I don't know its not a question I guess I just need a place to rant. If there's any guy whose been in this position how did you get through it?

Well, I had this with hockey. I was the star goalie that everyone was talking about and was going to take them to state. My advice, don't get caught up in it and just work your pants off. Also make a lot of friends, so if worst case things don't go to plan with football, you still like the school because of the people. Good luck!
