Should I go to the gym to get stronger or shoulg I just to home exercises?

So I want to get stronger by doing some exercises at the gym, but I'm really unsure if I should go. I have a treadmill at home, and my brother has weights, but I don't feel motivated at home. At the same time, I look really small and I think getting that extra muscle will help me in my work area so I won't be seen as the 'short' or 'petit' or 'small' girl by the customers. But I only went to the gym twice, with friends who no longer live near me and going alone kinda scares me because I feel like people will judge me or something
