food with saturated fatty acids are bad, as are foods with a lot of carbohydrates. good are unsaturated fatty acids (as in fish like tuna and salmon and nuts or avocados), those are necessary, should be eaten in moderation though. vegetables are good and can allmost be eaten without any limitation. also turkey breast can be eaten a lot. cereaks do contain carbohydrates but it is helpfull to eat them in the morning, whereas in the evening, you should avoid them at all cost. your ratio of vegetables to all the other things i mentioned to be good should be 3:1 or at least 2:1. so much for the "healthy" part. to loose weight, counting calories is the most unpopular, yet the most successful method. calculate your daily calorie demand (there are a lot of sites that help you doing that) and stay well below that calorie intake. in addition to that, it helps drinking a black coffee before training (which you should do a lot)

what i was told is eat 5 small meals each day with all your fruits and veggies and then if you get hungry inbetween drink chicken broth (flavor packets/cubes in water heated up)
I am on the same path at the moment, I am working out by jogging and eating smaller portions with lots of protein for e. g eggs and fish. Steer clear from bread and potato if you can, but if you can't just make sure your intake of these two are considerably lower than the rest of food that is on your plate. Don't give up, you will have days where you slip up, the trick is to get back up after the fall. Goodluck to us!! :)
Whenever you are hungry, drink a glass of water. If it doesn't help, eat some nuts or fruits.

High protein foods, cut out the sugar/bread.
Eat small snacks. Like, have a 20gram protein bar every two hours. And green tea.
