Well I think there are two options.
1) He doesn't want you to see him vulnerable/upset if he gets bad news
2) He genuinly doesn't want to bother you with it
I'd guess that it's both. You guys have got a baby and a future to look forward too, and he won't want to let anything get inbetween that. He won't want to worry you about this test, and letting you come along when he gets the results will just put strain on you both. Personally, I would just want to go in and get the results alone as quickly as possible, and deal with the results afterwards. I probably wouldn't even tell anyone until I got the actual results so that they didn't worry about me.
I would advice you to just let him do his thing. Try not to worry too much about it, because he wouldn't want you to :)
i think he love you & your son to the point that he doesn't want you to put the little one life at risking of getting cold i guess or he know that you have much on your plate with the baby & all & doesn't want you to hold more burden

It's cold outside plus he is under pressure so he
wants to handle things his way also when your afraid of
illnesses you don't have your head together i know when
something serious is going on i can't keep my head on
Because it's cold, you have a baby, and he'll be fine alone.
