Body weight is not a good indicator of how much fat someone has gained or lost, as there is a plethora of things that attribute to weight changes. The most likely change is hydration levels, as the body can hold anywhere from 20-30lbs of excess water weight. If it is fat then that is a steady fat loss rate, but again there are numerous details being left out, such as daily physical activity, diet, family history etc.

Are you a beginner? First time doing weightloss? You workout? A untrained beginner can't neurologically use all the muscle they have. When you start training, your body adapts and learns to use more muscle that you already have to cope with the newly introduced stress. Getting down to 10-12% body fat takes week... lower than that takes months.
