Yes,few tips.
Drink lots of water-your body holds and stores water which can make you feel and be bigger-this is why women feel bigger before they come on every month, they are stoeing water.Drink as much as you can,it stops you holding it-it also curbs your appitite.
Eat no fried food, replace by grilling, eat a lot of chicken and fish, yoguarts, steamed veg,fruit,soup...most of that is common sense, avoid sugar and cakes etc.
If you eat things like porriage for breakfast it will keep you fuller throughout the day,eat a lot of fibre,if you have a chocolate craving have a hot chocolate drink instead..check the saturated fat content on food, calories are burnt off easier its the saturated fat which sticks.
There are things like weight watchers and slimming shakes but the truble with them (and the atkins diet) is that when you start eating normally the weight goes back on again so I don't reccomend them.
There is a product called lipobind, have you heard of it? you take it after you eat and it stops you digesting 20% of the fat in it,its all natural ingredients,i really rate that.
I have been a size 8 all my life, except when I got pregnant with my little boy I shot up to a size 14,lol,now I'm an 8 again and that is how I did it.
Oh yeah,as far as exercise you want cardio workouts to burn fat off-anything which makes your heart beat faster kind of excercise.Walking is great for this as is swimming and you will be toneing up at the same time.
I love danceing and am really into my hiphop danceing so I used that, I also brought the hiphop work out dvd-find something you enjoy, dance dvds are great but it depends what your into-horseridding is also great, cycleing to.
Well I don't know if that's any good for you but that's how I did it ;o)

People always say "eat healthy" but I know it's not that easy. When I wanted to lose weight I read this magazine that changed my life. Unfortunately I can't remember what magazine it was but I know what it said. This is sort of what it said in the article:
You know that huge bowl of cereal you have in the morning? Or that three scoop ice cream cone you get everyday? You may think it's okay, but you will be just as full with a smaller bowl or a two scoop cone. See, your body is full, but you can't realize it when you're eating. Start with smaller portions and to help, buy smaller bowls so you CAN'T put that much cereal in it. And when you eat dinner, wait 20 minutes before eating dessert. It takes about 20 minutes for your body to register as "full", so you may not even feel up to eating dessert! And eat meals slower so the body can digest and break down food while you eat. Gaining weight can be caused by lack of the body breaking down food.
I hope this helps =D Good luck.
PS- take the stairs instead of the elevator and use your bike instead of the car.
Avoid late night snacks. Drink lots of water and exercise regularly. Also try to add more lean meats and vegetables in your diet. If your vegetarian then eat more pasta and try more milk and yogurt for protein intake.

To give you the best advice here, it's not so much about how much you exercise, but how much you eat and what KIND of food that you eat.
Working out makes you hungry. So most ppl, to give themselves some kind of reward, like a chocolate bar.
Well, fact is, if you eat a chocolate bar right after you work out, you've basically lost the whole point in working out because you instantly replace all the calories you've burned.
So don't go eat a whole bunch after you work out or you might as well not workout.
Eat several small meals per day to keep your metabolism going because it's going to slow down when it realizes that you're not taking in the the same amount of calories as before.
Make sure these small meals are healthy too!Protein is good for building muscle and burning fat. Have a shake after you workout to help your muscles recover. More lean muscle mass helps to burn more calories throughout the day. Check out link for a good protein powder. Squats and lunges are the best exercises to tone thighs. I just make my own workout routines, but I have heard positive things about P90X. Make sure to develop a healthy eating plan, workout regularly and drink plenty of water. The weight will come off, but you have to stick to it.
Didnt mean to repeat myself there...just another thing,a guy called Billy Blanks does tae-bo work-out dvds,i use those also, one in particular the ultimate bootcamp one,is probably the hardest workout I ever did, could bearly walk the next day lol but it gets you super amazeingly fit if you put the effort in and don't get put off because it is damn hard work.Yeah, just wanted to mention that one.Good luck ;o)
i love drinking green tea and vegetarian sushi. those are really low in calories and they're healthy too.
