A lot of it is laziness. They blame it on the media, but most people know what what is in the media is photoshopped. It's not hard to work out, and healthy enough to have a good body. I can understand why teens might be affected by the media but adults should know better.
Because the currently perceived cultural female ideal is constructed with Photoshop.

Not everyone can go to the gym. It can be because of money problems, or social anxiety, or 1 million other things. And you can work hard everyday, and still not get longer legs, big perky boobs, smooth skin, small shoulders etc.

if you can't go to the gym buy some weights.
if its money... if you're in school, school gym is always affordable, sometimes even free. anyone with a job can afford gym or buying weights. if you haven't even got a job you'd better worry about that before you even think about getting a relationship
You sound really unintelligent. I - for example - do not have money for weights, since they are really expensive. I go to school, but we have no school gym - in fact I have never heard, of a school here, with a school gym. I do have a job, but most of those money go to the family. What does getting a relationship have to do with anything? Are you implying, that people whitout jobs, and dreamy, model bodies, does not deserve relationships? That makes sense, idiot.
Have you not seen gymnasts' bodies? They look awesome, all simply bodyweight exercises. Of course not everybody can look perfect - nobody expects that. But everybody can get in good shape if they try.
It's not unrealistic to demand a fit partner if you are fit. It IS unrealistic and hypocritical to demand a fit partner if you are a fat fuck ( both genders ) or demand things that partner cannot change.
height, eye color, longer hair, etc

Fashion magazines cut actual images down, so the models appear to have a godly figure, which is unrealistic. These images and their egos cause them to strive to be like those models, and that's unhealthy.
It's funny though, because I couldn't care less what's printed in the magazine. I see gorgeous women in the flesh every day. That's where I get my expectations from.

I don't have money to go to the gym - I do gymnastic exercises, all bodyweight stuff, no equipment needed.

I do disagree with you about exercise. Its not hard to take 30 minutes a day to go for a jog or something.
Of course it won't grow you boobs or whatever but its going to make you feel better about your self image, ya know?
30 min jogging won't give you are dream body.
Combined with healthy eating it'll do a lot more than sitting at home complaining/feeling sorry for yourself though.
I never said Im feeling sorry for myself? Im saying that there are good reasons, why some people can't get a model body.

I was reading an article about how modeling agencies are less concerned about models bodies than faces because bodies are so easy to photo shop lol

Cos some people work 70 hours week or have two jobs or have kids or have responsibilities.
those are choices they made.
but actually its young people with no responsibilities i hear complaining
cos its always easier to blame the elements than yourself then I suppose
yeah i guess so
Easier to complain about unrealistic expectations than it is to put in the work and look that way.
Its unrealistic because a lot of people have things they value more than a perfect body.
Was a 117 pounds scrawny kid in 7-8th grade. I just ended school year ago, You mirin?
