Well if you can get access to a gym, that would be best. But you need to start by drinking a lot of water. Drink at least a gallon of water a day. It's good for you, and it can kind of curb your appetite. As far as eating, you still need to eat regularly. If you don't eat for long periods of time, your body doesn't know when it will eat next, so when you finally eat something, it stores it as fat as if it were in emergency mode. But if you eat throughout the day, kind of healthy, then your body knows it will eat, and it will burn the food instead of store it. They say it's best to eat a bunch of small meals throughout the day, instead of a couple really big ones.
As far as exercising, there are many exercises you can do. Since you're a girl, you want to do low weight and high repetitions. You want to do at least 12 repetitions in a set. When you do high repetitions like that, you tone your body. If you are a guy like me, trying to build muscle, you do low repetitions like 6-8. Since you're toning, you want to do at least 10-12. Like I said, a gym would be best, since you can do a variety of exercises. You can do like 30-40 minutes of cardio workout, and then 20-30 minutes of weights/machines to tone. But if you don't have access to a gym, message me, and I can give you some links of some great home workouts. But running, bicycling, swimming are all great cardio exercises. They can help tone, and burn calories. But like I said, start drinking more water, at least a gallon a day. Find out how many small bottles it takes to fill up a gallon, and just refill that throughout the day.

I great way to help lose the weight is cutting out processed and grain foods. I did this and lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks. I found a lot of different ways to use everything I can eat. A week ago I baked spaghetti squash and made a marinara made of just water, tomatoes, peppers, onions and garlic with a little bit of pepper (boiled and mashed). I've cut salt out, too. You feel sooooo refreshed and your sex drive goes waaay up. The only hard part of taking on this diet is sticking to it, especially when everyone around you isn't doing that for themselves. I take a lot of long walks, too.
A balance of intense cardio and weight training will help immensely. But, you must also watch what you eat, not just when you eat it. Portion control and eating out also plays a big factor. You might think that you are doing yourself a favor by ordering a salad, but when you pack on the dressing, the caloric content equals about a big mac. Learn little tricks like that and you will be good to go. I would recommend joining a gym. The personal trainers really are there to help and no matter what you think, they won't judge you for your appearance.

I recommend signing up with a gym and getting advice from a trainer based on what areas of your body you want to work on. They can also help you figure out what sort of foods you should be eating to maximize your results. If the gym option is out, then swimming is a great way to tone muscle and slim down. It's great for cardio exercise too. Remember to give yourself some rest too though, make sure to get a good night's sleep and don't work yourself too hard so you don't pull muscles.
