I had a dream that I had cancer, what could it mean?

I stated that it was a dream but it was more of a nightmare. I was in the hospital and it seems as it was in my head area. Guess brain cancer, it seemed so real & I was scared as hell! WTF could this mean, I'm hoping it isn't literal. Cancer doesn't run in my family, no one from my mom or dad's side has ever passed from that thankfully. I woke up with my heart racing, sweating and wanting to cry with a heavy feeling over me. Could anyone help out with this, please.

y'all by the way in my dream the docs were talking about having it but was growing my hair back it was pretty quick and had my hair by the end of my dream. I know it's just a dream but damn it they get very scary & feel real.

You may have felt some symptoms here or there that worried you a little, and than your body reacts to that by giving them a sense during a nightmare.
Fortunately these nightmare thoughts are generally worst case so don't be too afraid.
And don't be too surprised if tomorrow you have a simple cold or so...

It's just a dream. Somehow it got into your subconscious. Maybe you saw something in a TV show or a commercial.

I believe that sometimes dreams hold meaning and sometimes not so much. Cancer could possibly just be one of your fears and that's why you had a nightmare about it. Don't worry or dwell on it
