My boyfriend brags so much.

Ok, I know he's hot and good at sports and all that. Obviously I think he's great, I'm dating him! But it drives me crazy that my boyfriend can go on and on and on about how he did something super awesome and everyone loves him. He doesn't do it all the time but when he does he goes totally overboard. Today he was talking about how he was voted MVP of the game and someone came up and asked him "Is there anything you aren't good at?" And I just wanted to roll my eyes. He's super sweet to me so I have no other complaints but seriously WHY does he feel the need to brag like that? I just want to know how to nicely show him that arrogance is unattractive...

if your trying to get across the message that arrogance is unattractive, it won't have much of an effect.. what I suggest is.. make him understand that humility IS attractive.. once he realizes that being humble will get him far, then he will become more mature.. one way to do that is.. when he starts bragging, don't feed the flame.. totally ignore it and change the subject.. and you could also try to be subtle and say something like.. "you know.. no matter what you accomplished, not being humble about it just takes away the accomplishment".. something along those lines but in your own words.. true.. arrogance is annoying.. but people will learn when they understand that humility is a virtue.

tell him to stop being so cocky because it's a turn off
