As I see the #WHO #WorldHealthOrganization is already says we can travel but for me it is very hard to beleive since it is spreading so fast. What do you say?

Even with a Haz-mat outfit that makes you look like you're ready for Take off Off to another planet, there has been proof that Somehow Protocol can get compromised, Octopus. It is happening and Has happened even to the best of the best Here in the USA and out in West Africa. Even with her Military that are out there right now with only four hours of training and No gear to steer from this deadly disease or at Least Try and Prevent it, Not Invite it, for God sakes, there is a Big chance someone or Many will contract This and There Goes the domino affect.
I don't believe Anyone in the from Any country should be going over there right now. It's a death just waiting to happen and you are Not only putting yourself at Great risk, but your loved ones and people around you as well.
Low risk my butt... Three weeks ago Today, the CDC, Obama stood before the world and said this "Low risk" next to nothing bull and as usual, being as wise as I am, knew it would be a matter of time before the spreading would start and Has And------Will continue. They are even predicting by December that a million people will have this.
I do not know, unless you are a doctor that the government is telling you you need to go over and help, but you Need to tell Anyone that you are not leaving your own country that is Ebola free right now and, that while someone else is going in your place, your "Place" is here with your clean bill of health family while you look for Other Employment.
People in the US are vomiting and dying planes now, being found dead in their apartments and even the Pentagon had a puke problem outside their parking lot and bus last week.
Our boarders are wide open and banning flying over to the Infected Death zones are Not what this Commander in No Common sense will Order... He would rather watch us all drop like flies than to help us live to tell it.
Stay put, it's not worth your life or Anyone's to make a dollar that can be made where you stand.
Good luck, God bless. xx
If I traveled to an Ebola-affected country, I would be putting the lives of others in danger. It wouldn't just be a question of Ebola affecting ME, but also DOZENS, if not HUNDREDS of people. Besides, why would I want to be known as 'Patient 3' in the US? Why would I want my legacy to be... 'Person Who Died of Ebola'. On the flip side, if I survived, I wouldn't want to be a test subject for vaccines.
If your job requires you to, you have two options. 1) Quit 2) Go with a stellar immune system, survive, and don't tell anyone you ever had it.
Since the outbreak started in March, about 9,000 Ebola cases and 4,493 deaths have been reported, mostly in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone, according to the World Health Organization. More than half of the deaths have been in Liberia. And the numbers are expected to skyrocket.
There could be up to 10,000 new Ebola cases per week in the three hardest-hit nations by the end of the year, the World Health Organization said. It warned that things will get worse before they get better.
Liberia has some supplies arriving in the next week, but the Health Ministry said they are still insufficient. Items scheduled to arrive don't include body bags. In addition to the three nations, a handful of Ebola cases have also been reported in Senegal, Nigeria, Spain and the United States.
Having said that I would definitely avoid the west African countries, while taking the necessary precautions traveling anywhere else. Seems like major airports are taking this seriously and providing screening prior to boarding. You might want to postpone or telecommute instead until this pandemic plateaus out.

Look around in North America, we have the plague, deadly parasites, rabies, MRSA, ect.. The entire world is filled with potentially deadly and pandemic inducing viruses, parasites and bacteria.. Yeah Ebola is scary, but let me say... The timing of this virus is so perfect, CDC has patents on the viruses, their is also a "vaccine" somehow just ready for human trials, perfect timing.. So big pharma, good ol' USA and the WHO stands to make billions off a vaccine campaign for a real, but sensationalized threat, the WHO has seriously failed in containing Ebola this time, can't help but wonder if it was on purpose... We live in a sick world, I pray for our brothers in Africa, yet again guinea pigs for our corrupt governments...
But the disease spread because of unsanitary cultural habits. One of the tribal practices is to lay hands on the dead at funerals. This spread the disease among family members. The health care workers also didn't have proper suits to protect them from contracting the disease from their patients. Many health care workers have died from Ebola they got from sick patients they were caring for.
On a brighter note I have read that Nigeria was able to contain the Ebola outbreak by employing strict and rapid procedures before it got out of control. So it can be stopped if governments act quickly.
This will blow over by early 2015, but sadly not until thousands more perish to this pestilence. :(
My job requires me to handle the dead so no no and absolutely no. The CDC has instructions given to hospitals on how to deal with Ebola in the Us. I just a got a memo two paragraphs, stating that no Ebola victim's are to be brought to my funeral home. No burials or use of our crematorium. Do they know something they won't tell? It's a little bit creepy, I guess it is just a precaution. It's just that if a person dies of Ebola I would assume that the hospital and the C DC would be on it. Or is it going to get out of control and people just start dragging bloody bodies to my door? Maybe we won't have to travel to catch Ebola , Ebola may just find us.
It's a bunch of fear mongering.
Given that Ebola is not transmitted through the air, and you must be touching the bodily fluids of someone who is having symptoms from Ebola - it is highly unlikely.
If you really have been reading the news, then you're probably selectively paying attention to only the bad things, while completely ignoring the reasons why you should not be concerned.
Your question is also inaccurate. Ebola is not spreading to the western countries. So far, we have 1 case where someone caught Ebola in the US - who was a nurse that was caring for the guy with Ebola. In every other case, the person was in Africa as a caregiver to Ebola patients. They caught it because they have poor disease control protocols - and they flew them back to the US for treatment.
I would go!! I am a huge fan of my job and traveling and not a huge fan of side-lining myself out of fear. I'm not a spectator! I'm a risk taker! And just a happy fact for you (this is coming straight from the nurses mouth! btw!!) ----More people die each year worldwide from the flu than from Ebola!!
I would go!
But, in the end, it's your life, your decision, and your own experience!!
xoxo
Not effected, affected countries.
I think in most companies you have at least a saying and no one will make you go anywhere, especially dangerous places. Some people also have families and other special circumstances.
You can usually choose, and when you go you should be well paid for it.
I say no to travel. World wide communication is too good today and I think most meetings can be done through web chats or conference calls. Risk is too high and there are still too many stupid people travelling after being exposed and possibly spreading it.
I would Go. But then, I hav no commitments. Like I dont hav a family depending one me or kids to take care of. If I Die, No one is gonna get affected. But if you are married, with kids, think of them before you leave. If you think they hav the protocol and facilities to prevent you from getting it, you shall go. But do a lot of thinking though. :)
I would, if it's not for very long. Ebola is WAY to overhyped. It's only contagious after first symptoms, and only by fluids. So as long as you wash your hands and don't kiss/fuck anyone who's bleeding from their eyes and coughing blood, you're about fine.
I really want to visit some African countries out of interest but because of this Ebola sh*t I am too scared to go. I'm gonna have to wait until those whole thing is solved. My health is more important to me than my job.
Unfortunately, I don't think it's something that'll just blow over. The disease is just spreading far more rapidly than is possible to contain in those countries. Much like HIV and AIDS, it's something we'll have to get used to seeing in reports from Africa for many years, and possibly decades to come.
Honestly Ebola virus is greatly hyped. 'spreading so fast' is a wrong statement.. There are far more people dying and died from influenza. Cholera have killed and kills more people than Ebola, If you go to West Africa you have a higher chance of contracting Malaria than Ebola.
People should not go to any ebola infected country and people should be allowed out until the virus is destroyed completely. It is very simply, but the politicians want to do everything according to law even when common sense dictates otherwise.
So no, I would not go. The boss or the manager can go themselves or send their wives, kids or husbands. At worst find another job. Do not go, it is the most logical thing to do.
your health is more important than your job, it is so easy to brush arms with someone and in such a hot place and the virus is spread through bodily fluids including sweat, i would rather stay home.
You should bring it back home. Even you wouldn't, Obama wouldn't ban flights from those affected countries anyway. You should follow the way of bushido, serve your Emperor 1st (Obama), your petty little life means nothing in his eyes.
Yes, because the whole ebola baloney is a made up scary hoax by the government to instil fear on the gullible
Marines have been helping to treat ebola patients for YEARS and not a single one has ever been infected.
Don't do stupid things around someone with ebola, and you don't catch it. It's really fucking hard to catch. You almost have to TRY.
Hell no my my health and my life would be in danger
nope since u could die from ebola luckly it is not in the state i live in
I wouldn't go. they are not going to put my fucking health and life at risk. send somebody else
Never. I would rather quit, if I had no other option. I will not put my self at risk purposefully.
Nope, no, not a chance. Travel is part on my job but my job is not worth that to me.
