Guys, what are the biggest turn offs on the first date?

I know I could read a Cosmo magazine for do's and dont's but I'd rather hear from real guys than an editor.

So personality & appearance, what makes you not call again?

Do's

Do actually be interested in his hobbies - we can tell if your pretending

Do dress seductiively but not like a hooker

Do have good hygiene! Kissing an ashtray is not a turn on

Show confidence without arrogance

Do talk but not hog the conversation. Not everything revolves around your life.

Men however are probably more guilty of this than women! LOL

Don'ts

we don't want to hear about your last break up, how bad the guy was in bed or how small his penis was, that's just a preview of what you'll be saying about us if we have a bitter break up.

We like a woman who is not a cluesless air head _ some guys might like that, but they are the same guys trolling for drunk women coming out of a bars just to get laid.

Don't drink to get drunk. Vomit in or on our cars is a deal breaker

Everything is common sense but the top three things that would make me never return a call to a girl are 1) girls who are always chatting or answering her cell phone in the middle of dinner or conversation during dates, 2) a girl who's already talking about your future together how many kids you'll have and family (she's already picked out where you will live and what kind of house) all before she's learned where you live or even your last name.

3) this is the number one reason me and almost all my freinds dumped girls or didn't call them back TOO CLINGY they call 50 x a day and have nothing to say.

I'm not speaking for all guys obviously but myself and my freinds over the years.

Body odor, flat boring personality with not chemistry, not physically attractive enough? (odor is a deal breaker right up top, but attractiveness can sometimes trump a weak personality, and sometimes personality might be cause for the guy to give a second chance to see if he can get by any hang up's about her looks.)

So a girl with an amazing personality who is decently good looking and you do have the chemistry and attraction and all, you would immediately dump because one day she smelled bad? That's like saying girls don't poop...it's a myth and we all know what the truth is. Everyone both men and women go to the gym, they sweat in the summer, they eat garlic, doesn't mean odor should be a deal breaker.

You're saying that if a guy showed up to you very first date ever ,smelling like he'd been playing basket ball for 5 hours you wouldn't be turned off? Be honest about that.

Oh I totally agree, if a guy smelt bad I'd take it as a reflection of his lifestyle and hygiene.

But if the person smelt bad later on, I'd say something jokingly while still being serious but I wouldn't call it a deal breaker. That's later on though. First impressions are everything =]

Okay I think I get it, there's a miss understanding. I'm talking about a first impression, and Icemreamlover, it sounds like you're talking about just anytime. No I'm not suggesting if you've already been dating a person that one date smelling bad would cause you to end it. By the 3rd date it's pretty likely anyone would have done something a little gross. By then you're already past any questions of looks or personality or even odors. But the first day? everyone should at least try.

Everyone smells now and then yeah, but you're not going to go out on date smelling like you just came from the gym are you? That just shows a guy that you're not into this date and you're not making an effort. The way you take care of yourself shows your level of interest. that being said, I know a girl who has horrible body odor yet some how gets all the men.
