How long do I wait to see results of Accutane? Those of you who took it before?

The doctor put me on just 20 mg. I am 54 kg.

I don't have severe acne- one to three embarrassing ones or sometimes nothing at all. But my acne has been getting weird lately and nothing works, so I decided to take it cos I know it works.

It has been about 12 days. My skin has no oil and its texture improved. But I have new weird mountain-like breakouts with a yellow summit- lol. Should I ask the doc to increase my dose?

I was on 40mg and went up to 60mg at the end, at the time I was around 75kgs. My acne was bad too. For me it was a month before the the pimples went, they got worse before getting better, almost as if the acne was making it's final stand. It really sorted me out though after I went through all the acne tips bullshit online and anitbiotics and creams from the doctor which didn't work. Thank god for Accutane!

My greasy pizza face back in the day was unacceptable. These days I get the odd one, but it doesn't bother me, I have normal people skin now! lol
