Is it acne? If it makes you feel better, I have the same problem and I have since high school (I'm now 28). Some things that I find help (at least to reduce the redness and quantity, not to eliminate them entirely) are:
- Taking green tea and honey baths a couple times a week (put 4 or 5 teabags into boiling water and dissolve half to one cup of unpasteurized honey into the boiling water, and then add to tub)
- Put liquid honey directly on zits and let sit for a couple hours
- Wash up and, if possible, shower immediately after sports
- Wear loose fitting, breathable, lightweight shirts (as opposed to shirts that hold in sweat, oil, etc)
- Cut down on, or cut out entirely, dairy products (I fail at this one - I love chocolate more than I love being acne free)
- RELAX. It's really not that big of a deal :)

I used to have the same thing mine were dry skin patches tho
It could be a skin condition known as Tinea Versicolor. When spot sometimes scaly appear on skin and spread. It's actually quite common i have it and its usually treatable with products from the store. One of the most common and effective use products is Selsun Blue. You apply to the area let it dry for 15-30min and rense it off in the shower. Do it for 1-2weeks and usually it will go away. Or you can use tea tree oil , peppermint oil or foot fungus cream. Good luck and it definitely wouldn't be a deal breaker.
my advice would be to not mind about them... i guess nobody would notice them with their naked eyes ;-)
