Has anyone tried any of the products for under eye circles and have they worked?

The way I understand it is that under eye circles are mostly genetic and all it is, is that the skin is more transparent and thus blood vessels can be seen through the skin.

So I'm wondering if any products can alter the appearance of the dark circles?
I have some significant purple/blueishness around my eyes near the bridge of my nose :/ I can't stand the way it looks. What to try? Besides home remedies. I've tried them all.

I've never personally used any of the products for under eye circles, however i've talked to people who use beauty products for the situation. Main brands that i've heard them recommend is: "Shiseido" I even researched this brand and it was on the list for the top 13 eye creams. Another brand that i've heard has good eye creams is Clinique. I use a lot of clinique makeup and normal moisturizing cream for my face, and they're really good, so I assume their eye cream is as well.

No products have ever really worked for me. All I can really do is put concealer over them which helps diminish the appearance a little bit. It definitely depends on the person though, I just haven't had any success with that sort of thing myself.

I just read that retinol has been proven to lessen the appearance in some cases, so I guess I'll try that lol

I've had slightly visible circles under my eyes for so long that I'm not sure if they're there because of genetics, complexion, or from not getting enough sleep. I don't know I've always saw em as part of my look. I'd go to a doctor first before messing with any chemicals just to be safe and sure.
