I am not there intending to lose weight, I rather want to tone and build up muscle. I am getting a personal trainer for a few times I think and will be attending classes. Any good reviews about RM btw?
Follow the advice of the trainer, and make a schedule so you are actually working out on a regular basis.
Avoid alcohol and too much sugar, most dessets aside from fruit. You don't need to get obsessive about your diet, but be careful a little, since you'll tend to have more appeitite when working out. So don't start binging on sugary or fatty food.

in regards of food? eat clean eat healthy, do not overeat. plain and simple. im sure you should have a good idea of what healthy foods are. and if you want to tone, don't deny the weights.

Tbh there's a lot of "bro science" when it comes to the gym. Just eat a balanced diet and go regularly. Simples.
