It's not about portion size, or even calorie intake. It's the type of food you put in.
Your body is a complex system that can change gears and adapt depending on SO many factors... Looking at it in a "dieting" mindset is dead wrong.
I did what you did. I counted calories too. I worried about what I ate, how much, I skipped meals, I ran, I trained all kinds of sports... And then I realized that I'll lose more weight if I spend all day eating plant foods (even stuff like starches and grains), than I'd lose if I had one candy bar for breakfast and nothing more all day.
TYPE of food you eat is most important.
For me, it works to eat 10% animal products (lean, fresh meats and eggs), 90% plant food (60-70% fruit and veggies) and no dairy.
Experiment and figure out what works for your body best. Adjust your diet and don't ever cheat until you reach a point where you can eat well and your weight will never get out of hand without much deliberate overeating.
People use to heavy, greasy, sugary stuff they most of us eat will feel incredibly hungry while changing their diet, trying to find their proper food type proportions on a plate. Most even feel like addicts getting of drugs, because most food today literary IS addictive.
But if you persevere in month, up to 2 months you should begin to feel full and energized eating what you eat. (also a lot healthier)

It's not how much you eat it's what you eat, you cut back on the right things but you need to eat more food that burn fat.
Listen, I hear this a lot. You are exercising and eating incorrectly. You need to do shorter bursts and not long drawn out repetitious exercises. You need to eat a high protein moderate fat low, low carb diet.
Go to this site. Read his info, look on the site or google his diet also. Don't buy his system, there is enough on the website to let you know what you are doing incorrectly. Seriously, it will get you well on the right track. https://www.maxworkouts.com/
Yeah I know the feeling, I lose weight but the stomach doesn't seem to go down, apparently its the last place you lose weight so maybe you've got weight on other parts of your body to lose first

You have to be persistant. Keep trying and you 'll see that you'll loose weight eventually. Though, usually your body shape doesn't change when you loose weight
What kind of workouts are you doing? What does your diet look like? Just an fyi, running/swimming is not the answer...
