How can I avoid stomach bloating when I have abs?

I am a girl and I go to the gym everday. I am trying to build muscle mass on my legs and glutes. I do have abs and a flat stomach, however after every meal or protein shake, small snack or drink my stomach bloats and my abs seem to go away. Does this happen to everyone? Should I do more cardio or more ab muscle training to solve this problem? How can I get rid of this without it affecting my muscle growth?
