Any idea why?
Losing too much weight too soon?
Any idea why?
Even though you say that you are not dieting, have you changed your eating habits at all? What's going on or has been going on in your life? Is something causing you distress?
I am no medical expert so would strongly suggest you discuss your concerns with a medical professional. It may be Hyperthyroidism or Diabetes, but I am just taking a guess it could be neither, it may just be a vitamin deficiency. Until you seek expert advise and probably get blood tests done you might not know, it's probably in your best interest to consult someone soon.
I actually did change, I stopped eating meat except chicken. Even that, I rarely eat chicken. Do you think that could be something to do with it?
well first off, I'm pretty sure 97 pounds is very underweight for someone your hight. because I'm 5'3" and 110 lbs is almost considered medically underweight.
maybe you have a tapeworm? or more than one... what, it DOES happen. especially if you're around pets or other animals alot. it can be as simple as petting the cat, and then taking a bite of your toast, or something of the like. and then bam! you've ingested a worm egg 0_o
What?!
I feel sick

Have you noticed a lack of appetite or any changes, even if they're unintentional, to how many calories you burn per day? Walking more or anything? If not then it sounds like you might have a thyroid problem or something.
No, I eat 2 meals a day. Same as always
That's probably a thyroid problem then I think. If you go see a doctor they'll tell you for sure and get it sorted for you. Although, I have to be honest - 2 meals a day really isn't enough to be considered 'normal,' not unless each of those is a massive pizza or a takeaway meal or something. If you have lunch for 400kcal and dinner for 600kcal, you're only getting 1000kcal. Up your calorie intake and you should be able to go up to a healthy weight.
Wait, screw thyroid problems - you said above you stopped eating meat? That makes you lose weight, I know because I did it once for the sole purpose of losing weight lol. Meat has a lot of fat in it so you'd lose weight from not eating it. Eat lots of vegetarian meat substitutes, they're full of protein but much healthier. They'd help you gain weight (if you ate enough) but without getting flabby, you'd stay proportionate.
That's a really unhealthy amount of weight to lose from doing nothing at all...I would go see a doctor, even if you do feel perfectly healthy.
Yeah I agree paigems. That is really really weird.
you have worms
:(
I hope not :(
you should see a doctor though if you feel like you're losing a lot. they can probably give you a medication or something or at least tell you what's causing it
