Make sure in addition to cardio you're doing strength training - your glutes are huge muscles and hard to fatigue. Squats, lunges, and stair steps all train your glutes effectively - body weight when you're starting and loaded if you want to keep getting stronger. I don't understand the mechanics, but if you straighten your leg with your weight on the balls of your feet, you'll tend to work your quads. If you rock your weight back and push up with your heels, you'll work your glutes more. Pistol squats and donkey kicks are also good glute exercises. And you may just find that you like your body with a little more fat. Working out can make your heart and skeletal muscles healthier, and this is totally independent of your body fat, which you can adjust with your caloric intake. Whatever makes you happy.

How long did you jog? Were you working out with weights and im not talking about little kiddy two pound weights either. Were you doing high repslike 15+ or low sets 15 and under? Did your eating habits fit with your fitness goals? You have to ask yourself these questions and squats aren't the only butt building excercise- im not for sure if squats is the only excercise people know or what but there is so much more excercises for a bigger butt! I personally say DEAD LIFTS, GLUTE KICK BACKS, STEP UPS, and LUNGES are better tgan squats but thats my personally opinion/experince.
Squat and any other butt strengthening workouts. Though don't go to big because HUGE ones are kind of creepy.

well they say if you're under 17 you can't use weights... because you can stunt your growth... but really, weights will do a great difference in the way your body looks.
perhaps for now you should do all the variations of squat, and lunge, without weights and when you turn 17 start adding weight.
also if you work on your back and on your stomach, to slim down and arch, your butt will appear bigger, and work on your posture.Do you do any toning exercises for your butt, like squats? Those are really great for shaping it and making it more of a "bubble butt." I also recommend lunges (although you should know they may also make your thighs a little more muscular).
i'll donate to your cause, i'd like to have a small butt.
OMG the same thing happened to me! My butt disappeared but I think it probably Lois more toned & better now. Though I still want a bigger one so it matches me legs. Squats & lunges should help.
you probably got less fat
a big butt is about having fat on your assFew reps of deadlifts and squats but with heavy weights. It will develop your butt muscles more.
Small butts are lovely but if you must squats will probably help.
