How to lose weight successfully?
*but i did notice parts of my body are flabbier than before..
This is more a response to "i have been dealing with weight issues throughout my life"
If you want to get in shape and stay in shape for the rest of your life then you can't just have the goal of losing X amount of weight and after that you are done.
You will need a change of lifestyle and attitude.
Many fall back in old habits because they are doing and eating things they don't like, starve themselves and all kinds of stuff. When they have done this and reached their goal they are like "yay, I made it" and instantly fall back into old habits because they are having a diet they hate and are doing exercises they also hate.
So I would say that the most important thing for long term success is to find healthy activities that you actually enjoy doing and will continue doing after you reach your goal. Also find healthy and good food that you enjoy eating that you will enjoy eating after your goals are reached.
Doing a "crash diet" or exercise routine might give you fast results but you are likely to fall back again because you don't enjoy that.
This is really useful - as someone who lost and kept off 2-3 sizes, thank God.
Lots and lots of protein. Don't cut down on snacks - replace them with healthy ones. String cheese, nuts, kale chips (it's a superfood, you know), etc.
Your focus should be on proteins first - lean meats, fish, chicken, pork. Next should be vegetables. Any room left after that is for carbs, but it shouldn't be much. About 40g of carbs per day.
Other high protein snacks and ideas - cottage cheeses, Greek yogurt (you can use this like mayo and make tuna salad sandwiches with little cut up grapes in them...), cheese (but watch the fat), milk, nuts, peanuts, beef jerky (watch sugar content).
Keep up the exercise. It will help.
Well, I have never been big, but about a month ago I decided I want to get some help and lose 20 pounds just to feel more comfortable in my own skin. The diet that my weight loss coach told me to do, was low carb high protein. So try your hardest not to eat carbs. I eat a ton of eggs and turkey. But the main thing for me was portion control. I eat very small meals. My usual daily diet consists of Breakfast: 2 eggs over easy, Lunch: Turkey burger (i get mine from trader joes) with a slice of cheddar or swiss on top, and for dinner I usually eat chicken or fish. REMEMBER: diet is the thing that is really going to help you lose weight. Exercise is only about 20% of losing weight, but I do try to get to the gym about 3 times a week and do cardio and some weight lifting. I have lost 15 pounds so far, 5 more to go! Hope I helped. I am a huge health maniac and love to talk about it. Another huge tip is log all your food on the "myfitnesspal" app. It tells you the calories you are eating and logging your food really makes you more aware of what you are eating.
Either your in taking more than 1,200 calories a day or your not burning enough calories when you workout.
Try to keep track of how many calories you intake each day.
Try to work on eating healthier foods that aren't full of starch.
How effective your workout is depends on how intense your going. So try to do hard ones that get you pouring sweat and breathing really heavy.
Your body looks like how mine is. Like with you I've struggled with it as well. Even being at normal weight but still not looking fit enough.

Eat more vegetables and fruit, especially things like watermelon, since they fill you up and are mainly water, try to avoid too much carbohydrate, like porridge every morning, substitute it for eggs and lean meat, drink 1.5-2 litres of water a day and drinking 5 cups of green tea a day will burn belly fat
Keep doing what you're doing. Substitute more veggies in for fruits cause fruit is sugary. Completely remove anything oily or fried or sugary. Also beware of the beverages you choose. Drink a lot of water as opposed to other stuff.
