My Period is Late?

My period is five days late according to my tracker app.
My anxiety has been kicking my arse for the last week or so, so I know it could be that.
There is no way I'm pregnant (need to have sex for that to happen).

Why else might I be late? I'm never late other than one or two days when my cycle changes.
I've been getting pains that feel like regular cramping, I am going to a GP today so I am going to bring it up with her, but I want to get your opinions as well.

Any ideas why I'm late?

Thankyou everyone who's answered so far. I just want to rule a couple factors out.
I'm not on any contraception.
I'm not pregnant. Trust me, that's an impossibility.
My weight is pretty consistent.
My diet is pretty much the same. It did change pretty drastically a couple months ago, but my period hasn't done anything odd until now. So I don't believe that's it.
I. . . can't think of anything else I can rule out.

Stress, diet and if you are someone that runs a lot that can effect it. If you are on birth control and they aren't the right dosage that can be a factor as well.

If you keep having issues I would contact your primary care physician for a consult because it could be a hormone imbalance or something. I hope you get an answer soon. Maybe he can come up with a solution. Birth control can also regulate periods besides protect you from getting pregnant.
