I lost around 14 pounds this summer by shunning anything with sugar and fat, and working out. I drank nothing but iced tea (unsweetened) and water, and refused to eat anything sweet or fatty. I also started eating A LOT less. I also started working out whenever I could (visiting colleges is time consuming, y'know). When I could, I'd either walk around the neighborhood or do crunches.
Honestly, I don't think you're not going to be able to lose a lot of weight before the 18th, but I would suggest you just stay loyal to losing weight. People will notice you losing weight if you stick to it long enough. Like, people already tell me that I look taller and thinner, and it's only been about 2 1/2 months.

There is no easy way to lose weight. There's no fast way to lose weight. There's no half-fast way to lose weight that is safe. Sorry, there is no substitute for diet and exercise. The best thing would be to see a physician or dietitian. What are you eating? If you are eating junk food daily you are going to have to stop. If you are drinking non-diet soda, you need to stop immediately. Just cutting out soda alone could be enough for you to drop some weight.
I did a water fat for 5 days - from Monday till Friday. and I lost a little over 6 pounds. I also cut back on the portions of my meals (after fast)- plus, I still have a sweet thing every now and then. I exercise about 3 times a week for more or less an hour each session and the weight is still coming off (I do spinning classes (I don't run as my boobs are too big and it just makes it uncomfortable lol), zumba classes, I also try strength training which makes me look more toned. I also do intermitted fasting (on and off fasting). I also drink plenty of water which helps keep toxins out of my body and helps with hungar. hope this helps.
