thanks :)
Is it better to cut out fatty foods or sugary foods?
thanks :)
cut out sugary foods for sure cuz that's what makes you fat. sugar raises your insulin level quickly and sharply then transports that sugar into the fat cells. Your body WILL NOT burn fat in the presence of insulin. This is a scientific fact and why low carb diets work well.
This guy drank 10 cokes a day, which is nothing but high fructose corn syrup (a form of sugar), and gained 20 pounds in a month.
lol nooooo
Just workout everyday.
I go to the gym 2 hours a day and eats like a pig.
As in... an entire 12 inch pizza finished in one sitting sorta piggy eating.
EAT BIG, TRAIN BIG , WRARRRRRRrrrrr
Well if you don't want to revolve your life around the sweaty laboratory.
IFFYM with a pinch of common sense about difference in nutrient "quality" should do the trick.
"Just workout everyday." "EAT BIG, TRAIN BIG"
Exactly this^ I couldn't have said it better myself. Listen to @Illusive_Man , he knows what he's talkin bout
@VincentValentine
You can eat all you want and you'll never be FAT!
Hell, you'll be permanently starving so the chances are you'll eat yourself to bankruptcy.
Like me currently now that I've discovered Dominoes pizza.
@Illusive_Man Haha, Yeah! It's no wonder you're a guru. Strangely though, I still haven't tried Dominoes pizza
I know what you mean, that's been my theory for the past year, but I eat a lot and workout a lot to. The thing is, I'm not improving just staying the same and that's not what I want, I'm not reaching my goal by eating whatever I want
Sugar and bad fats. More importantly, sugar.
The thing is, try giving up junk food for a week. Just a week. You'll find that after that week you won't even crave it anymore. Sugar has an addictive affect on the body, so you end up craving it the more you eat. I've never gone a day in my life without at least a piece of chocolate, however. ;)
You look good for a 29 year old ;)
That's what's I've heard, but I love food I can't imagine not craving a good meat pie haha. But I will give it a go, cutting it for a week!
God chocolate is so good haha
hahaha thanks, I'm 19 but I hope I hear that when I'm 29! @VincentValentine
Oh yeah, pies are the best. Secret that's not really a secret; if you lift heavy weights you can eat pie and not have to worry about getting fat. ;)
I would cut out both but sugary foods will need to go first, fat is actually good for your diet as long has its healthy fats like from peanut butter, eggs, meat, yogurt, etc

A lot of fats are really helpful as they are actual fuel for your body. The amount of sugar we eat is crazyly bad for us and it's super addictive. Like at the levels we eat there are no benefits. If you care about your health you'll definitely cut out sugars and cut down on carbs generally. But don't cut out all carbs as some is definitely good especially those found in rice and unprocessed potatoes and stuff.
When I was overweight, I cut out more of the sugary foods than fatty foods. Don't know if the same will work for you, though.
Your diet should have fat in it, but not the bad fat... good fat like almonds.. gives you good energy
Cut out sugar
Well im on a diet too but i have cheat days every so uhh.. Often :D
It depends on your goals and how much of each you eat. 1 gram of fat = 9 calories. 1 gram of carbs (sugars) = 4 calories.
It's easier to cut sugary foods cause you really don't need it.
It'd be best to cut both
Fatty foods for sure
