Could my wrist be sprained or fractured?

Yesterday I fell over on my hand and now my wrist is really sore and swollen (I think it's around were the scaphoid is). I can move my hand but moving it hurts quite a bit. What should I do? I know that if I ask my parents to take me to see the doctor they'll say "The doctor is just going to tell you to get an X-Ray and they cost a lot of money." And couple of weeks ago I hurt my hand pretty badly and I got an X-Ray but nothing was wrong. This is different though. :( Any advice? Thanks so much in advance!

If it hurts too much to move, then it's a fracture. Yours is probably sprained. I wouldn't worry too much. Ice it 20 min on and 20 min off a few times to get the swelling down. But just make sure you don't hurt the same spot again and it'll heal up real soon. Give it a week and it'll prolly hurt way less
