How do I stay motivated?

I want to lose some weight before I go and visit my boyfriend in 3 months because I want to be confident with my body in front of him. I'm almost 5ft 10 and am around 1st (14lbs) over what is considered healthy for my height. I would like to lose that weight and possibly a little bit more but I find it so hard to stay motivated even though I'm really not happy about my weight right now. What can I do to stay motivated so I can achieve my goal?
