I will donate my organs, but they'll never have my tissue. There has to be something left to cremate.

I will because I think we should never miss a chance to help others And thanks for asking this question seeing a meaningful question after many days :D
no, I opted out. If a person has to wait for someone else to die in order to prolong his/her life - it sucks big time, because he/she is fucked anyway.
If a person is going to die soon, even if they get an organ transplant, they won't get a transplant. Available organs go to people who will live normal lives afterwards. For example, let's call our patient George. George needs a heart transplant, because his heart it failing. Unfortunately, the heart failure caused damage to George's other organs. George will be denied the heart transplant, because his prognosis will still be poor. Another patient, Bill, has a congenital heart defect. Bill has no other complications. Bill is given the heart that George was denied, because Bill has a good chance of survival. Unfortunately, Annie, Bob, Carlos, and Fred all needed a heart transplant too. They all died, because not enough hearts were donated.
Dang, you have a right to the decision you made... but your reasoning is icy. You can make a person's life less "fucked" if you donated and potentially give them the chance to lead a normal life afterwards if the HLA matching between your blood/organs is good with theirs.
His choice. I guess some people don't really appreciate organ donations unless you've been in a situation where someone you know on yourself requires a transplant then I think the full force of the generosity really hits you.
My philosophy is that people who have something very major wrong with them ( such as failed liver or heart) should not be alive. By artificially keeping them alive we are just prolonging their torment.
@Nick_D I'm telling you from a medical perspective that organ donation can be curative for many patients. You have every right to your decision, but you just sound misinformed. Or do you disbelieve in any artificial treatment such as vaccination, medication, surgery, etc?

I haven't thought about that yet. I'm not sure yet.
Yes I will, I won't need it anyway so if I can just save someone's life...

No, probably not. It just creeps me out personally lol
dead body is useless... better i donate to people who continue their life :)
Absolutely I'm already signed up to be a donor.
No, absolutely not. I'm not going to receive inferior medical care so that they can harvest my organs.
I am an organ donor, yes, they ask you if you want to be one, when you get your license

What if your organs could go to a young teenager or child who hasn't even experienced life yet?
as I said, they are already fucked if they need organs
Many organ donor recipients go on to lead fulfilling lives without any additional health problems but it is your choice at the end of the day ☺

You will of course just allow yourself to die, instead of accepting an organ if you become sick, right?
Yeah I would donate my kidneys and my liver.
Nope, I'd like to keep my body parts to myself.
well am unsure about it...
Yes, they can have everything.
Yes I am a organ donor...
sure, without hesitation
Yeah why not I have no use of them after I die
Definitely
No, I wouldn't.
I would like to stay one piece.
