Skinny/average guy and an overweight girl?

Is it possible for a relationship to form between a pairing like this? I mean more than just friends. I know it happens on tv and all that stuff. Has any one ever seen it happen in person? Do you think it could happen? My friend was thinking that she will never be able to be with a guy that is at a lighter weight than her and I didn't really know what to say to her.

I've dated quite a few girls bigger than I am, in honesty I'm a very slim guy... For me it would depend if she is pretty for her weight (unfortunately I can't date someone I'm not attracted to) she would also have to be a nice person. It might seem abit cruel, but same rules apply to thin girls... I have to be attracted to her, and she has to be nice. Just my preferences really...

i've seen it.

any relationship is possible. it doesn't mean it will always work and be happy, but that's really a personality thing.

idk about high school kids though, they are very judgmental and very conscious of what their friends think.
