Fitness freaks please help. How to lose weight in one month?

So I have to attend a wedding on 30th January. I'm 20 kg overweight and most of the fat is on upper body; tummy and back. Please guide me. Can't go to gym but have a treadmill. Please help.

Well you have to overall lose weight on your whole body, you can't target exactly one spot. Cardio is very important if you're looking to lose weight , since the movement targets your whole body. Also, planks are very good if you want to lose weight on your back and stomach, it targets your core. For your diet eat lots of fruits and vegetables, try replacing soft drinks with water or fruit juice and don't entirely cut fats out of your diet you need good "healthy fats" because you're body needs them and if you eliminate it from your body, your body retains them.

I want to add to this. Drink lots of water and green tea is especially healthy for you. Do not eat anything with lots of sugar.

@31yovirgindude Anddd also you know how people say "do sit ups and the fat is gone". Yes, no. Do situps, but add a different movement each time you do them so do sit-ups, twist sit-ups, crunch situps and try raising one leg while doing the situps, do a set of reps, then do the same with the other leg, do the set of reps, then lift both legs up and do the set of reps. And make sure to maintain proper form.

That is so freakin' true. You want to mix it up so to speak. Do not get in a pattern when it comes to exercising. You want to shock your body so your bosy will just gradually lose the weight from all the extra effort you put in your diet and exercise.

@31yovirgindude Exactly if you're body gets used to it (It becomes easy for you) you're not gaining anything or losing anything.

I recommend the Insanity workout series. If you have not worked out in a while, it will kick your butt and leave you sore, but that will wear off after about a week, hopefully.

Also, do not eat anything for at least two hours before you go to bed. Lastly, if you are drinking soft drinks of any kind--even the diet ones--eliminate them. Don't even take a sip.

Avoid eating sweets and foods with a lot of sugar and salt.
Do a lot of sit ups to loose the stomach. Also jog around a track or jog on your treadmill.
Also eat fruit and vegatbles. Drink plenty of water.

Okay... here's some advice.

1. Soda, sugary foods, microwave dinners, fast food--stop. Don't eat any of it. None.
2. Drink a lot of water, and a lot of green tea. No artificial sweeteners.
3. Cardio four days a week if possible.
4. Weight lifting two days a week.
