Yes, I have a lot of anxiety and yoga and meditation have done wonders. Yoga just helps me feel calmer throughout the day, it improves my mood. It's gonna be a good day if I got in a yoga practice, it just always is lol. Learning to meditate is extremely helpful though! I meditate almost every morning for about 15 minutes or more depending on my schedule. It's also very helpful if you get anxiety attacks. Every time I start to feel anxious and feel an attack coming, I simply leave, find a private place, and try to put myself in a meditative state. It calms you almost instantly, when you get the hang of it that is. The more you practice meditation, the better you'll get at it and the easier it'll be to get rid of those panicked feelings.

Yeah it can help. Doing things you enjoy will help more. Try to do things that will help you relax in general
