I don't know of any perfect way.
All I can say is that it really helps to talk about it. It's a cliché, I know but keeping it all locked up won't help you or those that care about you.
Also, feeling sad doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you. You can get better. :)

Healthy habits make a difference. Exercise, avoiding sugar. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy can help overcome negative thinking patterns. Basically, you have to DO things, which is hard because you don't feel like it while depressed.
