Already have the appointment made ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ already paid the $115 for a cleaning and them to take x-rays. Not about to pay that again at a new dentist on top of all the money I need to pay for fillings and wisdom teeth removal.
Mine aren't impacted though. I'm pretty sure they're just removing them because they have ridiculous cavities on them so they think it'd be better to remove than to fill them.
Honestly don't remember. Because they don't hurt or anything, except for one that was / kind of still is scraping against my cheek.
Never had wisdom teeth removed, but did have a molar way in the back removed, was both numbed and put under. Numbing had no effect on the pain (on a scale of 1-10 the pain was 100, so I had to be put under.
I was put to sleep. It didn't hurt until I refused to take the pain meds... Just don't do what I did lol as long as you take what they give you, you'll be fine

I was put under for my own years ago. My son had it done last year and he was put under as well.
Pay for the gas, you won't regret it. If you are able to be put under, do it.
Why is it not an option? Do you not have private dentists over there?
Like, my own dentist would not do this either, but I can go to a private one and have done exactly what I tell them to (you pay immense amounts of money though).
The dentist I'm going to for this procedure, as I said, doesn't have the resources. And I already have all the appointments made so I'm not going to hunt for a different dentist.
Especially since this one already has all my records
I'm sure they can be, but I know this dentist and I know I can afford the payments they laid out for me. I'm not going to cancel my appointments to go somewhere else and then have them be more expensive.

They put me under. If your dentist doesn't have the resources to put you under, find a new dentist.

My surgery took four hours because my teeth were so impacted. You sure you want to be conscious for all that?

Your funeral.

They knocked me out and it didn't hurt when I woke up.
I have no idea when I woke up.
Mine were removed before they grew in so I was put under.
It's different for everyone. My brother was writhrring on the floor in pain for over a day after the anesthetic wore off
Obviously it's different for everyone, most if not every pain related thing is different for everyone.
I'm just trying to get a collective data pool of info on how bad the pain was
Especially from people who were only numbed
had two wisdom teeth removed... you won't feel much pain after that
Imagine a little tickle but instead of a tickle its ripping bleeding pain
I was just numbed.
It didn't hurt much nor long. But then, I'm very resilient of all kinds of discomfort.
I was born without wisdom teeth so I will never know lol.
Never had it done my wisdom teeth are still intact.
just numb... he had to pull with 2 hands, it was quite difficult to get it out. it felt weird, but didn't hurt at all
Just use a hammer and a chisel without being put under or any pain meds. It will be over in a sec
just numb me, cause mine didn´t have to be cut out like in some cases. just straight pulled.
I did not have this done, but if I were have to, I would choose to go under. F-ing expensive, but I don't want to be awake for this haha
Yeah it's not even an option for me unfortunately. I've heard bad things about it.
I'm usually good with pain... except for when it comes to my mouth.

Fair enough :)
But, records are not shared among health providers? That is weird. And kinda dangerous.

i dont even remember or know that i have my wisdom teeth or not
I've never had one removed, but I'm going in this Tuesday to get this one that's impacted out..
I was just numbed, and it wasn't that bad. You'll be fine. (You probably will bleed a lot though.)
I don't know. I don't have it yet.
