I know a guy who is into sports and is very manly/macho.but he also has a sweet/knight in shining armor, compassionate, chivalrous side.but I noticed that he can be a bit more sensitive or PMS-y than me.
We were having a small argument one day that we were calmly discussing what's been going on between us.and he also brings up some comment I said 2 months prior that he said hurt his feelings lol. And I remember thinking WTF?
At the time when I said the comment he didn't seem upset lol.and he didn't say anything about it then.
anyway so is it true that men are more sensitive than women? What about the fact that he still remembered the comment I said.do they really not forget/get over things?

lol everyone is different. me I don't hold grudges, I'm the type of guy that when I KNOW something is bothering you and I say, ""baby, what's wrong, and you belt out ""NOTHING"", imma say, ""are you sure, cause if you say nothing is wrong imma go on as if nothing is wrong""
and if you say ""NOTHING""again. imma say "so, wanna go to the movies tonight?" yeah it will piss you off, but don't lie and say nothing is wrong when there is something clearly bothering you.
i don't hold grudges. I may be mad for a while, may remember what you did to me that was very f***ed up, and not forget about it, but petty shit, I don't hold grudges. he is very emotional whether he wants to admit it or not. good luck with that! lol
Yeah it was just weird cause like he'd push advice on me when I'm stressed out about something and us girls don't like things solved for us we want to just vent...and he kept pushing advice...he ended up making me feel bad and so I gave him the cold shoulder for a while and while I was doing that he kept trying to do funny stuff as if he was trying to either make me feel better or he completely forgot about what he did entirely.
And then there are times where ill say something...he'll remember it for a long time and bring it up later when it all builds up..and then he gets all woman on me...and talks about how I hurt his feelings when I said something 2 months...its retarded.
Some guys, I guess are emotional.. I would ask if he was raised by a single mom.. but I was raised by a single mom and I was never really all that emotional... I guess its in his make-up (you know what I mean?) lol... does he cry every time after sex??.. lol

We haven't done "anything" we're just friends...i wish it was more so...I do know that he got put into a foster home when he was a teen...I guess he's the type of guy if there's a problem he wants to talk about it and solve it and then move on from it.
Maybe he is afraid at the time of the incident that if he said something, you would walk away from him, and its something hard for him to handle, so he waits until later on, weather it be that day, a week or whenever, to say it cause you walk away then... I dunno..
As a general rule I do not thing Men are more sensitive than women, but some men are. Men can be bitchy and vengeful too. Some guys can be very emotional. I think we say a guy is in touch with his feminine side. Part of being a guy is to deal with that as you grow. Guys want to be macho around each other so there is a lot of pressure to not be sensitive and it becomes hard to deal with when you are a sensitive guy. I think the important thing to realize is that you can't generalize about everything, you are still dealing with an individual that will have specific traits.

were all human, we all have emotions
guys try to hide them for the most part, but you gotta understand those small things we might say that piss you off or get you upset can just as easily be turned around and make us feel the same way
the big thing is we don't show this as strongly when it occurs cause we tend to show our boldness
