To be healthy you should have nice cooked varied diet with all the food groups. This might be hard to do but what I do is use the good old plate model. One third of meat or things that contain mostly protein, one third of potatoes/rice (carbohydrates) and one third of vegetables. If you are exercising a lot and need more energy you increase the protein and carbohydrates. If you want to loose weight you do the opposite and increase the vegetables portion.
Reason why blueberries are said to be good to eat is because they contain antioxidants which is said to help rid the body of free radicals. But personally I think a normal consumption of blueberries won't do much difference.
Instead try to eat as mush fresh and unprocessed food as possible. I think that is the problem. Our digestive tract is adapted to eating what we ate thousands of years ago not all the additives we need to get the taste back into food as the producers have tried to fill it with water and cheaper ingredients to make a bigger profit.
Also remember to buy locally made food to be more environmentally friendly ;)

fruits, acai, stay away from white like mayo, white bread, white rice etc. soy milk, gluten free, vegetables, fish, skinless chicken so many things are healthy and deleicious. I love chickenand steamed veggies and brown rice.. rice pilaf! I make killer eggrolls, celery, carrots, organic ground beef or turkey, garlic, ginger
Fish and potatoes, man. Vegetables for fibre, if you like vegetables, if not, bread and fruit and stuff like that does the job. Otherwise, honestly, just eat good proper cooked meals and stuff. There aren't really healthy and unhealthy foods. I mean, the reason we're thinner than we were 2 or 300 years ago is because of chocolate bars, you know that? Healthy and unhealthy foods are a marketing tactic, purely. And a hospital'll tell you that, man. Unless your american, hahaha.
Anything With a high protein content, such as steamed chicken, grilled beef etc. Fruit and veg is a must. Spices are actually quite good, both because they contain antioxidants but they also allow you to 'cheat' the taste of those less desirable meals. Hell, in small amounts almost anything can be beneficial to your system.

basically anything like fruits and dark veggies or veggies in general are good for you, usually the bad tasting thingsI do know that with fruits like strawberries and raspberries, the darker red they are in colour, the healthier they are for you.
Yams or sweet potatoes, quinoa, brown rice, wild rice, squash, and just about any green vegetable are the best source for your carbs.
