Where do I fit in?

All my life I've been the crust of the social pie. some times it's chocolate pie so people like and other time I'm just plain pie, that no one really wants.

Is it my nature, I read a lot an people tend to 'complain' about my nose always in a book. I'm a nice person, it's just that people avoid me like I'm a stray dog you've never seen before.

Either you avoid the dog because it may have rabies or you want to take it home as the new family pet.

I'm not a stray. I'm open-minded, goofy, and sarcastic. with a little pit of dark and raunchy humor.

Question: Do I just seem cold and anti-social or do people just not like me.

ok, so you want to make friends and possibly influence people?

read a book called how to make friends and influence people by dale carnegie (I think that's how you spell his name).

Or you want to fit into life and think that life's kind of hard to find friends?

try reading "don't sweat the small stuff in love" or something... hahah actually I just love all the don't sweat the small stuff books. since you are only 18 I would still suggest the don't sweat the small stuff for teenagers book for you.

Or you want to know how to build relationships try reading the 7 habits of highly effective teens, and you will learn how to build relationships.

I am friends with all kinds of people. Buddhist girl who is japanese, a girl who is laotion and likes clubbing, a guy who is 33 and likes to just smoke and play video games, a girl who is 21 and just likes to have sex with lots of people, other people who just likes to drink and go clubbing, or even people who just like to not go clubbing and like to go to church and read the bible... I'm more of the classical music, watch a romantic comedy and sleep type girl myself.

Anyways there is a secret to being able to be friends with a lot of people and people of different backgrounds no matter what you are like, you don't have to sacrifice who you are to be friends with others but you do have to know how to interact with people. The best way is to read a book by an expert who has done a ton of research on the subject. That's what my best advice is for you so good luck.
