Diet and weight loss plan?

I am trying to lose at least 10-20 pounds in 2 months. I really don't know where to start besides founding out what my daily calorie maintenance is, exercising 4 times a week on elliptical, and toning my arms with arm weights.

However, I REALLY need a list of foods that will help speed the process. I know it is ideal to lose 1-2lbs a week but when you first start working out, you lose a lot more weight in the first week.

Please give me some suggestions for food and exercise if you know any! Thanks
